Canada has been warned and issued to the 2SLGBTQI++ community visitors about the United States. Because the Anti-LGBTQ protests are now at their peak in the US. the United state passed many laws in some states that is not favorable to the people of 2SLGBTQI++.
The advisory of Canada says, “Some states have enacted laws and policies that may affect 2SLGBTQI+ persons
Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland questioned the Canadian government, why is all that advice to the LGBTQ, and why they updated their advice. The Canadian government replies,
to look carefully around the world and to monitor whether there are particular dangers to particular groups of Canadians.
On the other hand, US legislation is on the rise to target the LGBTQ community. They are banning and making laws to stop promoting the community and banning classroom content, public performances (drag), and other acts.
Human Rights Campaign reported that there are more than 70 laws that have been passed this year in favor of Anti-LGBTQ and more than 500 bills are pending.
According to the FBI’s Hate Crime Statistics, more than 20% of hate crimes are reported for the LGBTQ community ( sexual orientation and gender).
